Artificial Insemination

The artificial insemination also called intrauterine insemination (IUI) is ideal for those cases in which there is a difficulty or impediment to the passage of sperm through the cervix, either by alterations in the quality of semen or cervical mucus, as well as for incompatibility between the gametes and the same mucus.

To perform this technique, there are two variants: Using the semen of the couple (IAH) or resorting to the Semen Donation (IAD), the latter recommended particularly in cases of severely affected male factor, which is not available with a partner or that exist hereditary diseases.
